The project involves the design and construction of a 2 phase park. Phase 1 consists of an open space park with a new restroom and
storage building (720 SF) and 3 new separate dog parks. The overall site is to be mitigated of past pollution and abuse, and to receive
landscaping, walking paths with picnic areas, and a new lake. The site will be split with a winding road containing on-street parking and traffic calming methods. Each dog park is to receive a Gazebo, walking paths, landscaping, and a joint dog wash area, all enclosed with fencing. The restroom/storage building will provide a compact location for all
utilitarian needs of the visitors and maintenance crew. Phase 2 will
consist of the addition of a children’s playground, a community garden, and a tree house located in the large banyan tree.
