Fire Station #23 is a beautiful station located in West Palm Beach. Fire Station #23 serves as a battalion station with all necessary living facilities. The station has 6 rolling doors, epoxy floors, and metal lockers in the apparatus bay. The 9,700 square foot facility has a dormitory for 8 people, a semi-commercial kitchen, dining and gym facilities in addition to training areas, a classroom and offices. The construction was unique in that the new station was to be constructed behind the existing operational facility. The station has a tiled roof with brick and stucco veneer, attractive landscaping, side and rear yard landscape buffers as well as associated parking.
