This project involved designing a interior build-out of an existing shell structure on the banks of Lake Okeechobee. The program included a bar and kitchen with table-top seating. The design of the space was an open layout to allow for flexible usage and arrangement of seating.
Along with flexibility, the owner wanted a warm, contemporary rustic
atmosphere. We achieved this using wood and stone accents. Due to the existing vaulted ceilings there was limited space for HVAC equipment. We took an innovative approach to house the equipment above the bar leading to a unique platform and enclosure which in turn, became the focal point of the space’s interior.
