West Palm Beach Fire Station #3 is a unique Mixed-Use Station that incorporates a Community Room. Many awards were received for the project including an Award for Excellence in Building Construction. This project included several artistic elements such as light fixtures made from fire apparatus gear and historic panels from the 1920s restored and installed on the entry tower. The scope constantly changed on this project as more donors stepped forward enabling the addition of mosaic tile reliefs, custom lighted gates, imported hand painted tiles and several other design components that make this station one of the best in the country.
