The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park included the development of a new park featuring a Globe Monument protected by a pavilion designed with the 1920’s Mediterranean vernacular style common to Lake Worth during that era. The park also includes a shade trellis framing the edge of the park and defining the amphitheater / flex space for outdoor activities. Other site amenities included decorative pavers, plaques, pre-cast benches, monument sign and landscaping throughout.
